Josh Cabello (b. 1997) is a visual artist and curator born and based in Los Angeles. 

His work is based on utilizing queer aesthetics and modes to create a more expansive understanding of the self. Through works primarily based in painting and photography, this pursuit takes form through exploring the messiness of the human interior, destabilizing our relationship to social categories, and utilizing queer futurity as a tool of collective liberation. He graduated from Brown University in 2019 with an A.B. in both Visual Art and English. He has exhibited at venues including the RISD Museum, Providence, RI; the Cohen Gallery, Providence, RI; Rare Cafe, Los Angeles, CA; and performed in the LA Art Show, Los Angeles, CA. He’s curated at venues including the RISD Museum; SoLA Contemporary, Los Angeles, CA; and Fellows of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, CA.
